The biggest milestone is that he said his first word, "da da"! I didn't think that he would say his first word so early. I guess I have been so occupied waiting for him to start crawling that I was pleasantly surprised with his latest achievement! He says "da da" all.the.time. and it still doesn't get old. Keith and I are always saying, "Did you hear that?". This morning on the monitor I heard him saying it in the softest, most sweetest voice ever. Even though he doesn't associate "da da" to Keith, we are still going to consider it his first word. Love him!
Last week, my sweet neighbor and I went to Spain Park to have our babies' first picnic. Laura has a little boy, Benjamin, who was born in July so it is fun to share our experiences together. We have a lot in common and she is my accountability partner to go on walks in the neighborhood to get the rest of this baby weight off! We have had 5 baby boys born just on our street since April and I can't believe that Sawyer is the oldest. We are meeting every Friday at each other's houses to drink coffee and play with our babies. Anyway, about the picnic. It was a beautiful and warm day so we packed up some PB&Js, drinks, and a blanket then headed out. Of course it wouldn't be a day out with two babies if there weren't blowouts and feedings!

Last weekend we headed down to Auburn for the Georgia game. This was Sawyer's first (of many more) tailgating experiences. I have a friend Katy that I grew up with who lives in Auburn. She and her husband Joe have the most precious little girl Norah who was born in March. I also got to see some High School and College friends so it was nice to catch up with everyone and crazy to think that most of us have babies now! Some of our friends bought an orange and blue RV that I had been hearing all about so it was great to go look inside and it even had a working bathroom which was way better then the port-o-potty. Katy and I stayed at the tailgate with the babies and watched the game I mean walked around most of the time. Sawyer and Norah loved people watching and being outside. My poor little guy is NOT a fan of loud noises so whenever everyone would cheer when Auburn scored, Sawyer would turn his bottom lip out and produce crocodile tears in 2.5 seconds! We were blessed with perfect weather and a good outcome of the game so it was a great day.
